Gabbie.com
Our Approach
Gabbie.com and my PremiumBrands approach to approachable identities and building useful businesses on the web.
At PremiumBrands.com, I present selected domains that a founder can consider alongside a business plan. As its founder, I find Gabbie.com interesting for its approachable character. A personal name can make an introduction feel familiar, but the product still needs a clear and useful role.
A name’s place in the business
I acquired i-Newswire.com in 2007 before upgrading the business to Newswire.com in 2015. That experience contributes to my view that a business name belongs in practical discussions about the company. The address should be understandable in the same conversations as the service it represents.
For Gabbie, I would think about the first question someone asks of the product. A personal name can invite conversation, so the business should explain what that conversation achieves. It is important to me that the identity and the actual interaction make sense together.
Testing an approachable interaction
AI makes early websites and software experiments more accessible, which is a reason I enjoy thinking about online business now. A founder can give another person a small working experience instead of only describing an idea. Their response helps separate an appealing presentation from a useful task.
I would begin a Gabbie prototype with a clearly bounded exchange. Let someone understand the purpose, contribute something and see what happens next. The questions they ask at the end can show which parts of the concept deserve development and which need a better explanation. A contributor should be able to recognize the next step without needing to understand the technology behind the exchange.
Where my studio contributes
OnlineBusiness.com, my strategy and development studio, supports the work around PremiumBrands presentations. The studio gives the exploration a development setting. PremiumBrands is where I offer the selected names and begin the conversation with someone considering ownership.
If Gabbie.com fits the product you want to create, Inquire. Tell me about the interaction and the people who would use it. The About the Site explains the address and acquisition context before we discuss your intended direction.
