There’s no denying that Chanel’s tweed jackets and quilted handbags are iconic, but the brand’s impact goes far beyond clothes and accessories. For the fourth year in a row, Chanel partnered with Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women’s Filmmaker Program, to ensure that female filmmakers have access to the resources they need.
On Oct. 16, the program kicked off with a luncheon that included A-listers — like Courteney Cox and Katie Holmes. “I am so happy to support young female voices,” Holmes exclusively tells InStyle.com. “I’m so happy that Tribeca and Chanel work together to fund these young voices. It’s important for people to not be afraid to tell the stories that they want to tell and to create the content they want to create and to feel supported in that way.
