This 2018, the fashion world debuts a couple of fresh new faces who are currently “in.” From the high-end fashion magazines on the racks to the exciting Avante Garde fashion shows this year, these hot fashion new models managed to stand out in the crowd to make their mark in the industry. Let’s meet this diverse group of fashion’s hot new “it” girls.

Oumie Jammeh

2018’s roster of emerging supermodels include some amazingly stunning black women. But perhaps out of them all, Oumie Jammeh takes the figurative crown. Since 2017, this Gambia-born beauty has been sailing through fashion shows from Milan to Paris, walking for the biggest fashion houses in the industry. She was signed by NEXT Management just shy of her eighteenth birthday and has since walked for Prada, Saint Laurent, Fendi, and Givenchy.

Meghan Roche

At the tender age of 17, Meghan Roche has achieved some things a lot of established models took years to do. For one, she opened for FENDI during its FALL2018 runway show. She also walked for Chanel, Versace, and Alexander Wang among others – with only one runway season under her belt. Impressed yet? Here’s more, this brunette beauty with her Brooke Shields vibes is also a top team soccer player and is currently studying to get accepted into the Ivy Leagues.

Line Kjaergaard

This Danish belle wowed everyone with a killer seasons for the spring and fall of 2018. Her intense, emotional stare as she glides down the runway caught the eyes of many in the fashion industry. She was a huge success on the runways of top designers Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein, Chanel, and Bottega Veneta among others. She was discovered when she was just 17 years old while out shopping with her mom. Line is currently signed with international modeling agency Le Management.

Adut Akech

While not technically a newcomer in the industry, Adut’s recent fast emergence in the last year is enough for us to include her in this list. This black beauty proves that a model can do both high-fashion and commercial successfully having opened for both Valentino and H&M this fall season. What’s more, her life story is one that can inspire anyone. Adut fled war-ravaged Sudan when she was young and built a life in Sydney, where she started modeling when she was only 11 years old.

Heejung Park

With so many fresh new Asian faces gracing magazine covers and runways, it can be easy to get lost among the crowd. But not for Heejung Park, with her sharp features and edgy vibe sets her apart and helped catapult her to the height of high fashion. Signed by the agency Muse, Heejung has walked for Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Fendi, Balmain, Alexander Wang, and even opened for Self-Portrait. Her exclusive contract with Louis Vuitton has undoubtedly cemented her mark in the fashion industry.

Kaia Gerber

This list wouldn’t be complete without fashion royalty. Kaia Gerber. Being the daughter of one of the earliest supermodels in the world, Cindy Crawford, is indeed enough to get your name out there. But proving that you deserve the recognition, is a whole different thing. Kaia proved time and time again that she doesn’t mind the hard work, having impressed various top designers with her unwavering work ethic and professionalism. Since her debut, she’s been opening multiple fashion shows left and right, including Fendi, Moschino, Alexander Wang, and Chanel.

Theresa Hayes

Wrapping up our list of fashion’s new “it” girls is this uber cool newcomer, Theresa Hayes. She started with a worldwide exclusive season with Louis Vuitton, and this elegant lady has since graced the runways of Miu Miu, Saint Laurent, and Christian Dior. This beauty started by getting gigs through her social media before being signed by Ford. Based on her social media, Theresa is one socially aware chick and even said that if she weren’t a model, she would be a social worker or a therapist.
